The leaves turn quickly in Update NY. This is our first fall, and a great one so far.  Probably there will be better color mid-month, but with the September image being late this time, I’d rather be early this month.

Shot with the OM-D EM-5 and Panasonic 12-35.

August weather is variable. Due to the Hudson river, and likely the nearby mountains, there often is an eerie fog covering the adjacent fields.

As usual, feel free to download and share the images to use them for their intended purpose.

We have made our move to Columbia County, NY, which is beautiful, much different from Maine. What better to show as an image than a sunbathed field, with the Catskill mountains in the background. Us for its intended purpose and fell free to share.

I admit it is late March, so I am getting this one in just in time. Having still (mostly patchy and dirty) snow on the ground is not very conducive to landscape photography. With the time change we finally have sunrise at a decent time. The ice on the lakes here is almost completely melted, so here we go.

As usual, feel free to share this for its intended purpose as a desktop photo. Click to enlarge, right click to download after. Larger version after the break.

It’s been 4 years! Here is the consecutive image No. 49 for the anniversary….  I don’t think I missed one. November has frosty, cold air with sunny mornings, I hope this image reflects that. As usual, feel free to share for appropriate use. Here is the 8::6 version, the wide image after the break.
