June is when Maine spring really starts! This year is really wet, which is deleterious for outdoor activities but great for our plants. Most of our garden flowers are in full bloom.

Hence this month’s image, taken with the OM-D and the 60 mm Macro lens in natural light. As  usual , feel free to use and share for its intended use, download large version by clicking the image.

I admit it is late March, so I am getting this one in just in time. Having still (mostly patchy and dirty) snow on the ground is not very conducive to landscape photography. With the time change we finally have sunrise at a decent time. The ice on the lakes here is almost completely melted, so here we go.

As usual, feel free to share this for its intended purpose as a desktop photo. Click to enlarge, right click to download after. Larger version after the break.

This winter has been weird – the usual January thaw was quite severe, so now there is mud everywhere.  This morning everything was frozen again – and I noticed some abstract formations in the frozen mud puddles, making a nice subject for this months  –  very abstract – desktop image.

As usual feel free to share and enjoy as a desktop image.
